Threads Youth Fashion & Identity Program is a 16-week program running October 2024 to March 2025 for high school-age youth (13-19) where students use fashion design and sewing skills education as a lens to discuss personal expression, gender, and sexuality with the goal of helping youth on their journey of self discovery.
Fashion design activities are taught by Project Runway All Stars’ Sam Donovan and fashion designer Rufus Dixon, introducing students to fashion sketching, sewing fundamentals, and preparing for the runway.

This is a program for all high-school-age students interested in learning more about themselves and how to support each other. While Love Your Labels specifically focuses our work on supporting LGBTQ+ youth, we recognize we’re all in different stages of our life journey and we don’t exclude based on identity.
